Welcome and hello!

Hello and welcome to our blog The Adventure Collection, where adventures from all over the place can come to reside. This is a personal blog that hopefully will give you readers a good perspective of the places we visit, the sights we witness and the fun we experience as we get out and explore this wild and wonderful world.

To introduce myself, my name is Aoife, I'm the editor-in-chief of the blog, and I will be cataloguing my experiences of Dublin, Ireland where I currently live. If I get a chance to I hope to share my experience of my escapades within and outside of Ireland.

To get a flavour of what's to come I shall tell you some of things I enjoy most (play "My Favourite Things" from the Sound of Music in the background to get the real idea):

• Beautiful buildings and street art (see some Dublin street art above)
• Cute cafés supplying high quality tea and cake
• Vintage clothing and charity shops
• Books and graphic novels (I'm a proud nerd)
• Theatre and film
• Music festivals
• Sewing and crafts

As you can see, I like a variety of things, and I plan to write about events and places I have been to, but also new experiences that I try.

I will also have some other writers, and I will have them introduce themselves along the way. So without further ado,please enjoy our musings and comment if you like.
