A Post Card From Me to You

A postcard with an orange sunset, purple grey clouds and the light reflecting off the canal. A bit of a bridge can be seen in the foreground and there are telephone wires stretching across in front of the scene. There is text at the bottom that says "Greetings from June 2019"

The back of the postcard, there is text in cursive handwriting. On the right there is a stamp with a mountain on it, and underneath is the web address of the blog.

Hello there!

It's been a long time since I wrote, or you may be a stranger receiving this! Never the less, I wanted to drop you a postcard and say hello. I love writing, but I worry I don't have enough to say, or when I do it goes on too long... That's what I love about postcards, you can say so much but only in a small amount of space!
Life is very busy busy right now for me, I have a lot of work to do, and I have to squeeze family and friend time, but it helps me appreciate the little moments. I'm not really a summer girl- I have terrible hay-fever at the moment, and can't tolerate a temperature above 25°C, but I'm loving the amount of flowers blooming everywhere and the wonderful summer sunsets. Plus I have some actual adventures on the horizon that I can't wait to tell you about.
Right now I'm just enjoying the serenity of a quiet Sunday morning, before everyone gets up and starts making noise. Hope you're feeling good, and you can enjoy some peace and quiet too amongst the hubbub.

Until the next time,
Aoife
